Proquro is committed to providing a digital experience that is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA and Level A, ensuring our platform is usable and inclusive.

Accessibility Testing Approach

Accessibility for Proquro is evaluated through a combination of manual reviews against the WCAG 2.2 AA checklist and automated testing using the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool. Key user journeys and screens—including login, registration, privacy policy, user management, procurement, contracts, and supplier workflows—are regularly assessed for accessibility barriers.

Manual WCAG Review

  • Level A & AA Compliance: Most screens meet requirements for keyboard navigation, meaningful reading order, descriptive page titles, logical focus order, error identification, persistent labels/instructions, and consistent help mechanisms.
  • Areas Under Review: Some criteria, such as info/relationships for assistive technologies, bypass blocks, and focus order, are being cross-checked for full compliance.
  • Known Issues: Color contrast issues and keyboard navigation improvements are actively tracked and addressed.

WAVE Tool Results

  • Common Findings: WAVE scans have identified issues such as color contrast errors, missing form labels, ARIA alerts, and structural element alerts. These are prioritized for remediation.
  • Screen Coverage: User screens and admin screens are included in testing.
  • Continuous Monitoring: WAVE results are reviewed after each major release, and accessibility fixes are included in our development backlog.

Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort at Proquro. We regularly review and update our platform to address new issues and incorporate user feedback. Accessibility fixes and enhancements are prioritized in our development cycle, and re-testing is performed after each major update.
